I provide merit badges for curiously specialized skills—right now I'm focusing on writers & readers. Who decides if you've earned a badge? You, and only you. If you want to show off what you've earned, you can post a badge on your website or blog. Updates every weekday.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use your art on my blog?
The merit badge graphics are available for non-commercial use. See the image use guidelines for full details.
Are you going to make real badges? Can I have some?
A few real badges (of the metal pinback variety) have been spotted in the wild. Right now the only way to get some is to know me personally or win them in a contest.
Why so many writing merit badges?
Because I had to start somewhere. Also, it’s fun.
Will you do a badge for _____?
If there’s a particular badge you’d like to see, let me know. I might include it in a future request week. Or maybe I’ve already created it, and I’ll know to rotate it in sooner.
How do I earn a badge?
You decide which badges you’ve earned. The title & post for each badge will give a general idea of what the badge is for, but I would get really bored if I had to describe the exact conditions under which you could earn each badge. And that’s not really the point of the Badger Scouts, anyway.
I think I maybe kinda earned this badge, but I’m not sure.
When in doubt, claim the badge.
Can I e-mail you?
Yep. The contact form goes straight to my e-mail. The only reason I don’t post my address is to help keep spam bots at bay.
I heard there was a zombie poster here somewhere…?
Yo.
Why DinoRodeo.com?
This blog is part of DinoRodeo.com because I am. Unless you mean why is it called DinoRodeo, in which case the answer is “you’ll find out someday.”
