Villain.

Merit badge: curly black mustache

Earn the “villain” merit badge by creating an especially evil bad guy.

Or gal.

Or gender-neutral killer robot.

Whatever.

The point is, they’re bad. And you brought them into the world! Congratulations on your dastardliness by proxy.

Part of the merit badges for writers series. The badge may be posted on your site or blog. Tell us why you’ve earned (or will never earn) it in the comments.

I want a twirly mustache for myself. Pooh on men.

I posted an excerpt of the very first villain I ever wrote, a character sketch of a sorts, for a WIP I’m still writing, on my blog. Sociopaths are awesome.
