Making deadlines.

Merit badge: an angelic line rises from the body of a line that has been brutally slain

Oh, sure. You’ll be done on time and look like the big hero. People will think you’re so professional and look forward to working with you in the future. Plus you can parade all around town wearing your precious “making deadlines” merit badge.

But what about the poor lines that won’t be going home to their families tonight?

WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF THE LINES?!

Part of the merit badges for writers series. The badge may be posted on your site or blog. Tell us why you’re guilty of earning it (or not guilty) in the comments.

I think what we’ve failed to take into account is the fact I am secretly building an zombie army comprised mainly of deadlines. So, really, it’s ok. They’re happy. I give them a good afterlife etc. You can sponsor an un-deadline if you want? They send you cards and everything.
