Invisible desk.

Desktop completely obscured by clutter (coffee mug, papers, folders, etc)

POP QUIZ: What color is your desk?

If it’s covered in so much clutter that you can’t tell, you’ve earned the “invisible desk” merit badge.

Part of the merit badges for writers series. The badge may be posted on your site or blog. Tell us why you’ve earned (or will never earn) it in the comments.

    I love this badge. I love all the badges, but this one… THIS one really holds a special place in my heart.

    Invisible desk… Desk camouflaged to look like a garbage heap. Whatever you want to call, I have earned this badge and shall wear it with the utmost pride.

    Thanks for another great badge!

    @Susan: Thank you!

    There was some debate here about what to call this one. Finally went with “invisible” with the understanding that it meant invisible in the Wonder Woman sense.

    Do I need to be a writer to earn one of these? I am a stamper, and we NEVER see the tops of our desks. In fact, we don’t see the floors, either – they are overflow for what doesn’t fit on (or slid off) the table. I can send you pictures. I’ve blogged them, and yes, I am very proud. Please let me know! Thanks!

    @leslie: The rule is “when in doubt, claim the badge.” It’s all yours!
