To make up for the skip days this week, there’s nine word count merit badges today. They range from 0 words (you have a story you’re going to start writing eventually, honest) to 150k+ words (you may be scaring the agents a little), so you’ve definitely earned at least one of them!

What about 66k? Everything I ever type up is 66k words.
I can lay claim to 1/20th of the 5k badge. I often have writing assignments that dictate the maximum number of words I am allowed to use. Example: “Explain the similarities and differences between convention gasoline-powered cars and the currently available hybrids. Explanation should be no longer than 250 words, max.”
Yes, that’s about the same as placing 5 pounds of potatoes in a 1/5 pound sack!
I need like four or five copies of the 150k badge. Not bragging. Just worn out. LOL
